According to a recent survey conducted in the Midwest, nearly 75% of renters would prefer to live in smoke-free apartments, and at least 75% of Michigan renters do not smoke.

     Four of our seven buildings at Woodfield Terrace and the building located on Bingham have been designated as Smoke-Free. All new tenants moving into these buildings must be non-smokers and they, or their guests, are not allowed to smoke in the units, on the patios, or within 25 feet of the buildings. Though there are a couple of current tenants who are grandfathered in at this point and will be allowed to continue to smoke inside their units, they are also not allowed to smoke on their patios or within 25 feet of the building.

     We view this as a very positive step forward for healthy living.
